This vaccine prevents infection by the viruses associated with cervical cancer, its precancerous lesions, vulvar intraepithelial neoplasia, vaginal intraepithelial neoplasia, and genital warts. It is indicated for females aged 9 to 45 years, and three doses over six months are required.

This vaccine prevents severe pneumonia. Depending on your municipality, some doses may be available free of charge. Please contact your local government office in advance to confirm eligibility.
